No Worries?

I have to write a short note to remind my children, that even though their mom and dad come from a small town, and even though both their dad and their mom have the Thomas name in their family tree, it is important to note that there were four or five Thomas families in Malad, and none were related.

Your mom and I are, however, related through the Morse line. My grandfather's mother was a Morse, and mom's family had a connection there too, so maybe you should worry after all.

But at least we're not first or second or third or even fourth cousins. It's not like we're from Arkansas or something, but we are from Malad.
