Chandelier Tree--A Tree That Sprouted Over 2400 Years Ago

Four hundred years after some people believe Homer began singing about Greeks and Trojans at war on that famous plain, this tree was a sapling. And when Jesus was a babe in a manger in Bethlehem, the tree was two hundred years old.

I can't imagine this, but more importantly, it was what I thought about as I drove through the tree with my sunroof open staring at the sight above me, both inside the tree and outside, where I could see the upper branches.
Jack enjoyed being perched so he could look out at grandma, who takes magnificent pictures. I drove too quickly the first time through the tree, so this was the second try. My Annie put it on a movie clip the first time.
By the time I stopped here, I realized that I drove through too quickly, and I circled around to get the first two pictures at the beginning of this blog.
